Who can use and
benefit from a web site?
Pretty much anyone, any group, any team or
business can benefit from a web site, and it
doesn't have to cost you an arm and a leg.
If you're interested in a web site, please
don't hesitate to
contact me with any questions, comments
or concerns.
Below are some links and screen-shots of some
of my web designs:
This is a
site I had the honor to be the web tech for for several years
until I lost web publishing capabilities:
www.emilyduits.com

Someone else was gracious enough to step in and
continue the site. I strongly encourage you to grab
a snack and/or a favorite beverage and take a
few moments to check it out:

Another
site I had the honor to be the web tech for
for a few years:
www.pldcheer.com |
Another
site I was working on for a first year coach.
She stopped communicating with me when she abruptly resigned as
coach and moved on to another school,
so this site was never developed:

I have several
more screen shots of previous designs,
available to interested parties on request. |

HISTORY
When I first looked into getting a web site
years ago, I contacted a tech company who
specialized in web design and got an
estimate of - if I recall correctly - $1,900
just to create it not to mention the
maintenance fees. At that point I decided
I'm going to do it myself and looked into
software and learned the basic ins-and-outs
of web design using the then current
Microsoft software.
Ultimately, in this fast-paced,
keep-up-with-this-years-tech society,
hosting companies stopped supporting the
software. At that point, short of buying new
software (that I couldn't really afford), I
was forced out of having my own and others
web sites. After spending 30 minutes on the
phone with GoDaddys "would you like fries
with that" tech support to see how to use
the same software in a FTP manner, which I
understood was very do-able at their site,
but actually wasn't for me, I fully
abandoned web design. [It didn't help that
spending 30 minutes on the phone with them and
talking with two different people, I swear I
heard the last guys voice crack with
excitement when he found an online link that
"explained it all!"..... the same link I had
found, among many others, after a quick 10
second Google search prior to calling them.]
It wasn't until I literally [digitally] stumbled upon a
company in Colorado a few months back that
specializes in supporting my (and apparently
many others) old software that I got back into web design.
