People have had their photographs matted and
displayed using a matboard material for many
years. Digital matting is easier, less
expensive, more versatile as far as image size,
quantities and/or placement and there's
virtually no limits to the colors,
mixture/blends of colors or the background you
can use in place of colors. Whether it's a
single photograph or multiple photographs you'd
like matted together, your imagination is the
limit.
